About

Playwrights are back at The Rep with an evening of bold new work, Uncommon Wealth, tackling our controversies-of-the-day with their insightful spark and humour at 8pm on 24th January 2024, followed by their classic Unwanted Christmas Pressie Swap.
text's Liz John, Helen Kelly, Vanessa Oakes and Tim Stimpson ask: "What is left for us to hold in common? Our beloved NHS? Our shared history? The natural resources beneath our feet? Social care? Our desire for good governance?
In this cost of living crisis, BOLDtext explores what we still share – or don't – and how we can all benefit from our national 'wealth'. More about these staged readings at boldtextcollective.com Tickets are £10 from Birmingham REP.
