In this workshop you'll be encouraged to 'be present in the moment' at different locations in the gallery building and in the immediate outside space where you'll have the opportunity to embrace the environment of the gallery space in a mindful way, and go on to document what you hear, what you feel, what you smell as well as what you can see in a pamphlet book of plain paper. We'll explore the works of artists and illustrators who follow a similar theme, and discuss how colours, shapes, lines, textures, curves and words can be used abstractly to describe a sense of the space.

Your findings can be used to create either a large drawing, smaller drawings or a snake book.
