Shrewsbury Castle is a red sandstone castle in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. It stands on a hill in the neck of the meander of the River Severn on which the town originally developed. The castle, directly above Shrewsbury railway station, is a Grade I listed building.

Step back in time as you experience the Castle’s rich, 1000 year history and discover the county’s Regimental past from the King’s Shropshire Light Infantry to the formation of the 53rd (Shropshire) Regiment (1755) and the the 85th Light Infantry (1759).

Car parks within a 10 minute walk include Frankwell (including Coach Parking), Raven Meadows Multi-Storey and NCP Wyle Cop. Blue Badge parking is available within the town or at the Castle by prior arrangement.
